Jessica Pegula defeated Qiang Wang 6-2, 6-4 on Tuesday evening and will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina in the next round

American Jessica Pegula, the No 11 seed, beat China’s Qiang Wang 6-2, 6-4 to move into the second round of Roland-Garros in Paris on Tuesday evening.
Pegula, ranked No 11, will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina next.
