Roland-Garros: Nadal advances to the quarter-finals

Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the No 5 seed, beat Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 9 seed, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of Roland-Garros in Paris on Sunday.
Nadal, the current World No 5, will face top-seeded Novak Djokovic next.
Previously, the 35-year-old Spaniard beat Australian Jordan Thompson 6-2, 6-2, 6-2, Frenchman wildcard Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-1, 6-4, and Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp, the No 26 seed, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
Earlier in the tournament, World No 9 Auger-Aliassime defeated Peruvian qualifier Juan Pablo Varillas Patino-Samudio 2-6, 2-6, 6-1, 6-3, 6-3, Argentinian qualifier Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-0, 6-3, 6-4, and Serb Filip Krajinovic 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2), 7-5.
