Roland-Garros men’s singles draw
The Roland-Garros men’s singles draw is done, with match-ups like Wawrinka-Murray to start off and a possible semis rematch of Nadal vs Thiem.
The Roland-Garros men’s draw was done electronically and the results are in. Prior to the draw, it was announced that Milos Raonic, Kyle Edmund and Fernando Verdasco have withdrawn from the tournament, and that there will be 19 qualifiers in the draw.
The men’s top seeds are Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem and Daniil Medvedev, in that order. A rematch of last year’s final could be in store in the semis with 12-time champion Nadal and US Open champion Thiem drawn to face each other in the semi-finals. The first-round match-up to watch is definitely wildcard Andy Murray against 16th seed Stan Wawrinka, a repeat of their 2017 semi-final.
