Tomas Machac won against Argentinian Mariano Navone, the No 31 seed, 6-2, 6-1, 3-6, 1-6, 6-1 to reach the third round of Roland-Garros at Roland-Garros in Paris on Thursday evening.
Machac, ranked No 34, will face Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 5 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Roland-Garros 2024, Tomas Machac beat Portuguese Nuno Borges (7-6 (3), 6-4, 6-3).
Navone, ranked No 31, defeated Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta (5-7, 6-1, 6-3, 6-0) in the previous round of the Roland-Garros 2024.
