Roland-Garros: Kasatkina makes third round

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 9 seed, reached the third round of Roland-Garros by beating Czech Marketa Vondrousova 6-3, 6-4 at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris on Wednesday.
Kasatkina, ranked No 9, will play American Peyton Stearns next.
In the previous round of the French Open, the Russian won against German Jule Niemeier (6-3, 6-4).
Vondrousova, ranked No 60, won against American Alycia Parks (6-4, 6-0) during the first round of the French Open.
