Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 26 seed, moved into the third round of Roland-Garros by winning against Italian Luciano Darderi 7-6 (2), 6-3, 6-3 at Roland-Garros in Paris on Thursday afternoon.
Griekspoor, ranked No 25, will play German Alexander Zverev, the No 4 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Dutchman defeated American Mackenzie McDonald (6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2).
Darderi, ranked No 40, beat Australian Rinky Hijikata (6-3, 7-6 (6), 6-1) in the previous round of the Roland-Garros 2024.
