Alert: Djokovic defeats Musetti in five to make fourth round of Roland-Garros

Serb Novak Djokovic, the top seed, reached the last 16 of Roland-Garros by defeating Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 30 seed, 7-5, 6-7 (6), 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 at Roland-Garros in Paris on Saturday evening.

Djokovic, ranked No 1, will face Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 23 seed, next.

The 37-year-old Serb won against French wildcard Pierre-Hugues Herbert (6-4, 7-6 (3), 6-4) and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (6-4, 6-1, 6-2) ahead of his victory.

Earlier in the tournament, Musetti, ranked No 30, won against Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (6-3, 6-3, 7-5) and Frenchman Gael Monfils (7-5, 6-1, 6-4).
