Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 11 seed, advanced to the last 16 of Roland-Garros by winning against German Jan-Lennard Struff 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 at Roland-Garros in Paris on Saturday.
De Minaur, ranked No 11, will face Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 5 seed, next.
The Australian beat American Alex Michelsen (6-1, 6-0, 6-2) and Spaniard Jaume Munar (7-5, 6-1, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds of the Roland-Garros 2024, Struff, ranked No 41, defeated Argentinian qualifier Roman Andres Burruchaga (6-3, 6-2, 6-1) and Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 19 seed (6-2, 6-2, 6-3).
