Roland-Garros: Cilic edges Fucsovics to make third round

Croat Marin Cilic, the No 20 seed, won against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 to move into the third round of Roland-Garros at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris on Thursday.

Cilic, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Gilles Simon and American Steve Johnson next.

The 33-year-old Croat defeated Hungarian Attila Balazs (6-0, 6-1, 6-2) in the previous round of the French Open, while Fucsovics, ranked No 57, won against French qualifier Geoffrey Blancaneaux (6-2, 6-4, 6-4).
