Roland-Garros: Another top 10 seed tumbles as Fritz knocked out by Cerundolo

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 23 seed, edged out American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the last 16 of Roland-Garros.
Fritz joins Medvedev and Sinner in early exits that have left the bottom half of the draw wide open.
Cerundolo, ranked No 23, will face Dane Holger Rune, the No 6 seed, next.
The Argentinian beat Spaniard Jaume Munar (6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1) and German lucky loser Yannick Hanfmann (6-3, 6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Fritz, ranked No 8, won against Michael Mmoh (6-2, 6-1, 6-1) and edged out Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (2-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4).
