Belinda Bencic beat Bianca Andreescu 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will face Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 17 seed, in the next round

Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 14 seed, advanced to the third round of Roland-Garros by winning against Canadian Bianca Andreescu 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday evening.
Bencic, ranked No 14, will play Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 17 seed, next.
In the previous round of the French Open, the Swiss defeated Hungarian lucky loser Reka-Luca Jani (6-1, 6-1).
Andreescu, ranked No 72, won against Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure (3-6, 7-5, 6-0) in the previous round of the French Open.
