Roland-Garros: Arnaldi books spot in third round against Rublev
The Italians cored a straight sets win over Alexandre Muller 6-4, 6-1, 6-3 on Thursday

Matteo Arnaldi advanced to the third round of Roland-Garros by winning against French wildcard Alexandre Muller 6-4, 6-1, 6-3 in Paris on Thursday.
The Italian, ranked No 35, will face Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 6 seed, next. The Russian has defeated Arnaldi in their only previous clash on the ATP Tour.
The Italian beat Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 29 seed (6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2) ahead of his win today.
In the previous round of Roland-Garros 2024, Muller, ranked No 90, defeated Italian Luca Nardi (6-4, 6-1, 6-3).
