German Alexander Zverev, the No 6 seed, won against American Alex Michelsen 6-2, 7-6 (4), 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
“The new generation’s coming and they’re coming very fast. There are a lot of great players,” Zverev said in his on-court post-match press conference.
