Australian Open: Tsurenko beats Masarova to book spot in third round
Lesia Tsurenko beat Rebeka Masarova 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday and will play Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, in the next round

Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 28 seed, advanced to the third round of the Australian Open by beating Spaniard Rebeka Masarova 6-3, 6-4 at Melbourne Park.
Tsurenko, ranked No 33, will face Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, next.
In the previous round, the 34-year-old Ukrainian won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti (3-6, 7-5, 6-3).
Masarova, ranked No 91, won against Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich (6-3, 6-4) in the first round.
