Australian Open: Svitolina dispatches Tomova to reach third round
Elina Svitolina beat Viktoriya Tomova 6-1, 6-3 and will play the winner of the match between Katerina Siniakova and Swiss Viktorija Golubic in the next round

Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, the No 19 seed, won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-1, 6-3 to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
Svitolina, ranked No 23, will face the winner of the match between Katerina Siniakova and Swiss Viktorija Golubic next.
In the previous round, the Ukrainian beat Australian wildcard Taylah Preston (6-2, 6-2).
Tomova, ranked No 70, defeated American Kayla Day (6-4, 6-2) in the first round.
