Australian Open: Sabalenka dismisses Krejcikova, faces Gauff in semi-final

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, won against No 9 seed Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the last four of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Tuesday.
Sabalenka, ranked No 2, will face American Coco Gauff, the No 4 seed, next.
She has now won all eight Grand Slam quarter-finals in which she has appeared.
“I have been working so hard, last year, this pre-season,” she said on court afterwards.
In the previous rounds, the Belarusian beat German qualifier Ella Seidel (6-0, 6-1), qualifier Brenda Fruhvirtova (6-3, 6-2), Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 28 seed (6-0, 6-0) and American Amanda Anisimova (6-3, 6-2).
Krejcikova, ranked No 11, defeated Japanese wildcard Mai Hontama (2-6, 6-4, 6-3), German Tamara Korpatsch (6-2, 6-2), Australian qualifier Storm Hunter (4-6, 7-5, 6-3) and Russian Mirra Andreeva (4-6, 6-3, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
