Australian Open: Pera makes third round
Bernarda Pera won against Qinwen Zheng 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday. She’ll play American Coco Gauff, the No 7 seed, in the next round

American Bernarda Pera won against Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 29 seed, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Wednesday.
Pera, ranked No 41, will face American Coco Gauff, the No 7 seed, next.
The American beat Japanese wildcard Moyuka Uchijima (2-6, 6-3, 6-1) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Zheng, ranked No 28, won against Hungarian Dalma Galfi (6-0, 6-2).
