Australian Open: Lucky Loser Gaston makes second round, meets Fritz next

French lucky loser Hugo Gaston reached the second round of the Australian Open by edging out Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 at Melbourne Park on Monday.

Gaston, ranked No 97, will face American Taylor Fritz, the No 12 seed, next.
