Australian Open: Lehecka remains unbeaten in 2024 with first round win

No 32 seed Jiri Lehecka beat Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Tuesday.

Lehecka, ranked No 23, won the Adelaide International last week to start the season. He will play the winner of the match between Australian wildcard James McCabe and American Alex Michelsen next.
