Australian Open: Kecmanovic overcomes Struff to book spot in third round

Serb Miomir Kecmanovic beat German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 24 seed, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (9) to advance to the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 60, will play American Tommy Paul, the No 14 seed, next.
The Serb edged out Japanese Yosuke Watanuki (4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Struff, ranked No 25, won against Australian Rinky Hijikata (3-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (8)).
