Australian Open: Humbert beats Auckland champ Gasquet to reach second round
Humbert will face the winner of the match between American lucky loser Denis Kudla and Russian Roman Safiullin in the next round

Frenchman Ugo Humbert reached the second round of the Australian Open by beating countryman Richard Gasquet 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 at Melbourne Park on Wednesday.
Gasquet, a former top 10 player, had come into the tournament after winning the ASB Classic in Auckland over the weekend.
Humbert, ranked No 106, will play the winner of the match between American lucky loser Denis Kudla and Russian Roman Safiullin next.
