Griekspoor secures third-round clash with Tsitsipas, knocks out van de Zandchulp

Tallon Griekspoor moved into the third round of the Australian Open by winning against No 32 seed Botic Van De Zandschulp 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 at Melbourne Park on Wednesday.

Griekspoor, ranked No 63, will play Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 3 seed, next.

Tallon Griekspoor defeated Russian lucky loser Pavel Kotov (6-3, 7-6 (3), 6-3) ahead of his victory.

In the previous round, Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 34, beat Belarusian Ilya Ivashka (6-3, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3).
