Australian Open: Frech stuns Garcia to reach third round

Pole Magdalena Frech stunned Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 16 seed, 6-4, 7-6 (2) to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
Frech, ranked No 69, will play Russian qualifier Anastasia Zakharova next.
The Pole edged out Australian wildcard Daria Saville (6-7 (5), 6-3, 7-5) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Garcia, ranked No 19, beat Japanese Naomi Osaka (6-4, 7-6 (2)).
