Australian Open: Draper survives Kokkinakis battle to reach third round

15th seed Jack Draper came from two sets to one down to beat Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-7 (3), 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 and advance to the third round of the Australian Open on Wednesday night.

Draper, ranked No 18, will face another Australian Aleksandar Vukic next at Melbourne Park.

Ahead of his win today, Draper defeated Argentinian Mariano Navone (4-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2).

Kokkinakis, ranked No 71, edged out Russian Roman Safiullin (3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 7-6 (5)) in the first round of the tournament.
