Australian Open: De Minaur races into third round

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 10 seed, defeated Italian Matteo Arnaldi 6-3, 6-0, 6-3 to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Wednesday night.
De Minaur, ranked No 10, will face the winner of the match between Russian Pavel Kotov and Italian qualifier Flavio Cobolli next.
In the previous round, the Australian benefited from the abandonment of Canadian Milos Raonic (6-7 (6), 6-3, 2-0).
Arnaldi, ranked No 41, won against Australian wildcard Adam Walton (7-6 (5), 6-2, 6-4) in the previous round.
