Australian Open: Carreno Busta through to second round for sixth year in a row

Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 14 seed, moved into the second round of the Australian Open by winning against Argentinian Pedro Cachin 7-6 (4), 6-1, 7-6 (3) at Melbourne Park on Tuesday.

Carreno Busta, ranked No 15, will face Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi next.

This is the sixth year in a row that Carreno Busta has won his first round match at Melbourne Park and improved his career record at this Slam to 16-9.
