Australian Open: Badosa into third round with impressive win over Pavlyuchenkova

Spaniard Paula Badosa moved into the third round of the Australian Open by winning against Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-2, 6-3 at Melbourne Park.
Badosa, ranked No 100, will play American Amanda Anisimova next.
Ahead of her victory, the Spaniard defeated American Taylor Townsend (6-1, 6-3).
Pavlyuchenkova, ranked No 46, won against Croat Donna Vekic, the No 21 seed (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round.
