Australian Open: Azarenka passes Tauson test to reach third round

Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 18 seed, beat Dane Clara Tauson 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to move into the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
Azarenka, ranked No 22, will play Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, the No 11 seed, next.
The 34-year-old Belarusian won against Italian Camila Giorgi (6-1, 4-6, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Tauson, ranked No 96, defeated Belgian Greet Minnen (7-5, 7-5).
