Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena beat Frenchman Corentin Moutet 7-6 (6), 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Hangzhou Open at the Hengqin International Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Carballes Baena, ranked No 55, will play lucky loser Mitchell Krueger next.
