Italian Mattia Bellucci won against Russian Aslan Karatsev 6-4, 6-0 to reach the second round of the Zhuhai Open at the Hengqin International Tennis Center on Thursday.
Bellucci, ranked No 108, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, the No 6 seed, and Kazakh qualifier Denis Yevseyev next.
