Chinese Zhizhen Zhang moved into the second round of the Winston-Salem Open by winning against Belarusian Ilya Ivashka 4-6, 7-6 (7), 6-2 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
Zhang, ranked No 62, will play No 14 seed Marton Fucsovics next.
