Winston-Salem Open: Vukic tops Van Assche, books spot in last 16
Aleksandar Vukic won against Luca Van Assche 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-3 on Tuesday night and will play Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed, in the next round

Australian Aleksandar Vukic, the No 9 seed, defeated Frenchman Luca Van Assche 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.
Vukic, ranked No 51, will face Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament, Van Assche, ranked No 65, won against American qualifier Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).
