Sonego sets up Cressy clash in last 16 of Winston-Salem Open

Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 14 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by winning against Chilean Alejandro Tabilo 7-5, 6-1 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.

Sonego, ranked No 63, will play American Maxime Cressy, the No 4 seed, next.

In the previous round of the Winston-Salem, Tabilo, ranked No 72, edged out Japanese lucky loser Shintaro Mochizuki (4-6, 6-2, 6-4).
