Sonego sprints past Stricker in Winston-Salem
Lorenzo Sonego beat Dominic Stricker in straight sets on Tuesday afternoon in Winston-Salem. Either Jerry Shang and Mariano Navone, the No 7 seed, is next up for Sonego.

Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 10 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by defeating Swiss Dominic Stricker 6-4, 6-1 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Sonego, ranked No 58, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Juncheng Shang and Argentinian Mariano Navone, the No 7 seed, next.
Stricker, ranked No 182, won against Argentinian Federico Coria (7-5, 6-2) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament.
