Winston-Salem Open: Michelsen impresses, beats Fucsovics

American Alex Michelsen, the No 11 seed, defeated Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 7-6 (3), 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.

Michelsen, ranked No 52, will face Belgian Zizou Bergs next.

In the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament, Fucsovics, ranked No 79, won against Japanese Taro Daniel (4-6, 6-1, 6-2).
