Winston-Salem Open: Mannarino moves into last 16

Frenchman Adrian Mannarino won against Finn Emil Ruusuvuori, the No 9 seed, 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.
Mannarino, ranked No 65, will play Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the No 8 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the 34-year-old Frenchman edged out Australian qualifier Christopher O’Connell (7-6 (4), 6-7 (3), 7-6 (3)).
