Winston-Salem Open: Mannarino books spot in final, defeating van de Zandschulp

Frenchman Adrian Mannarino reached the final of the Winston-Salem Open by defeating Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp, the second seed, 6-0, 6-4 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Friday night.
Mannarino, ranked No 65, will play Serb Laslo Djere next.
Ahead of his victory, the 34-year-old Frenchman won against Australian qualifier Christopher O’Connell (7-6 (4), 6-7 (3), 7-6 (3)), Finn Emil Ruusuvuori, the No 9 seed (6-4, 6-1), Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the No 8 seed (6-3, 6-3) and American Maxime Cressy, the No 4 seed (6-4, 7-6 (3)).
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 23, won against lucky loser Tallon Griekspoor (7-6 (5), 6-3), Spaniard Jaume Munar, the No 15 seed (6-3, 6-3) and Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, the No 10 seed (7-6 (6), 7-6 (1)) earlier in the tournament.
