Winston-Salem Open: Lehecka into quarter-finals, to meet Purcell next
The Czech edged out Dominik Koepfer 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 on Wednesday
Fifth seed Jiri Lehecka reached the quarter-finals of the Winston-Salem Open by edging out German Dominik Koepfer 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
Lehecka, ranked No 35 in the world, will face in-form Australian Max Purcell next.

The Czech won against American qualifier Mitchell Krueger (2-6, 6-2, 6-3) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament.
In the earlier rounds of the Winston-Salem tournament, Koepfer, ranked No 78, edged out Frenchman Constant Lestienne (6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (8)) and beat American lucky loser Strong Kirchheimer (6-3, 6-2).
