Australian qualifier Jason Kubler beat SoonWoo Kwon 7-5, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Kubler, ranked No 116, will play the winner of the match between Serb Laslo Djere and Portuguese João Sousa, the No 16 seed, next.
Kwon, ranked No 81, won against German Daniel Altmaier (6-1, 6-4) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem.
