Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler reached the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by beating Swede wildcard Mikael Ymer 6-4, 6-4 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.
Huesler, ranked No 102, will play Belarusian Ilya Ivashka, the No 11 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Winston-Salem, Ymer, ranked No 74, won against Argentinian Federico Coria (6-2, 6-3).
