Winston-Salem Open: Goffin books spot in last 16

Belgian David Goffin moved into the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by beating Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 5 seed, 6-2, 6-4 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Goffin, ranked No 90, will play Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, the No 12 seed, next.
The 33-year-old Belgian won against Spaniard Jaume Munar (7-5, 4-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Winston-Salem tournament.
