Winston-Salem Open: Djere beats Michelsen to reach quarters
The Serb won against Alex Michelsen 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday
Serb Laslo Djere, the No 4 seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Winston-Salem Open by beating American wildcard Alex Michelsen 6-4, 6-4 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
Djere, ranked No 34, will face Argentine Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed, next.

The Serb won against Argentinian Facundo Diaz Acosta (6-3, 6-3) ahead of his win on Wednesday.
In the earlier rounds of the Winston-Salem tournament, Michelsen, ranked No 133, won against Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-0) and Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 15 seed (7-6 (4), 7-5).
