Vienna Open: Lucky loser Sonego edges out Cerundolo to reach second round
Lorenzo Sonego beat Francisco Cerundolo 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 and will play the winner of the match between Ben Shelton and Jannik Sinner in the next round

Italian lucky loser Lorenzo Sonego won against Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Vienna Open at the Wiener Stadthalle.
Sonego, ranked No 52, will play the winner of the highly-anticipated second meeting between American Ben Shelton and Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, next.
