Vienna Open: Tiafoe goes down to Berrettini in three sets
The Italian will face the winner of the match between Russian Karen Khachanov and American Brandon Nakashima in the next round

Italian Matteo Berrettini advanced to the quarter-finals of the Vienna Open by defeating American Frances Tiafoe, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 6-7 (6), 6-3 at the Wiener Stadthalle on Wednesday.
Berrettini, ranked No 41, will play the winner of the match between Russian Karen Khachanov and American Brandon Nakashima next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the Italian won against Hungarian qualifier Marton Fucsovics (7-5, 6-4).
Tiafoe, ranked No 15, beat Cameron Norrie (6-4, 7-6 (4)) in the previous round of the Vienna tournament.
