US Clay Court Championships: Brouwer beats Isner, through to last eight
Gijs Brouwer won against John Isner 6-4, 7-6 (4) on Saturday and will face No 5 seed J.J. Wolf in the next round
Dutchman Gijs Brouwer beat American John Isner, the No 4 seed, 6-4, 7-6 (4) to reach the last eight of the US Clay Court Championships at River Oaks Country Club in Houston on Saturday.
Brouwer, ranked No 123, will face No 5 seed J.J. Wolf next.
In the previous round of the Houston Open, the Dutchman won against American Aleksandar Kovacevic (6-4, 6-4).
