Tsitsipas wins Mallorca final, edges Bautista Agut to lift first title on grass

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the second seed, edged out Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2) to lift the Mallorca Open trophy at Mallorca Country Club on Saturday.
He maintained his 100 percent record over his Spanish opponent – and also began a new impeccable record, winning his first-ever final on a grass court.
In the previous rounds, Tsitsipas, ranked No 6, beat Belarusian Ilya Ivashka (6-4, 6-4), American Marcos Giron (7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3) and Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (6-4, 6-4).
Bautista Agut, ranked No 20, defeated Japanese qualifier Taro Daniel (6-4, 7-6 (4)), Australian Nick Kyrgios (W/O), Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed (6-3, 6-2) and Swiss qualifier Antoine Bellier (7-6 (5), 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
