Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 4 seed, reached the final of the Tennis Napoli Cup by beating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday afternoon.
Musetti, ranked No 24, will play Italian Matteo Berrettini, the second seed, next.
The 20-year-old Italian won against Serb Laslo Djere (7-5, 6-3) and Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (6-3, 6-0) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Kecmanovic, ranked No 30, defeated Italian wildcard Flavio Cobolli (6-1, 6-2), Frenchman Corentin Moutet (5-3 ret.) and Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the top seed (7-5, 6-2).
