Tel Aviv Open: Etcheverry makes second round, defeating Karatsev

Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry edged out Russian Aslan Karatsev, the No 6 seed, 6-2, 6-7, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Tel Aviv Open at Expo Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

Etcheverry, ranked No 87, will face Russian Roman Safiullin next.
