Tel Aviv Open: Broady books spot in quarter-finals, defeating seeded Van de Zandschulp
Liam Broady beat Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 on Thursday and will face Croat Marin Čilić, the second seed, in the next round

Qualifier Liam Broady moved into the last eight of the Tel Aviv Open by winning against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at Expo Tel Aviv on Thursday.
Broady, ranked No 174, will face Croat Marin Čilić, the second seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, Liam Broady beat Serb wildcard Hamad Medjedovic (7-5, 6-3). Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 35, defeated Portuguese João Sousa (6-2, 6-3).
