Dominic Thiem won against Alexandre Muller 6-1, 7-6 (4) on Monday afternoon. He’ll play the winner of the match between Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Austrian Dominic Thiem moved into the second round of the Swiss Open by beating Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-1, 7-6 (4) at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad on Monday.
Thiem, ranked No 94, will face the winner of the match between Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, the No 5 seed, next.
